This note explains how eMakatib handles information that is needed to operate the service.
The business owner must complete a privacy and retention review before public launch.
What we collect
We collect information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, learner details, and booking choices. We also receive basic technical information needed to keep the service safe and working.
Why we use it
We use this information to show relevant teachers, create a secure booking hold, start checkout, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Who can see it
A teacher can see only the learner name and booking details needed for a lesson. Approved administrators can review private teacher evidence. Our service providers process information for hosting, storage, payment, email, and video. We share information when the law requires it.
Private teacher evidence
Identity and qualification files stay in private object storage. They are available only through short signed links for the teacher owner and approved administrators. They never appear on the public teacher profile.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove it when we do not need it for a legal reason. Use the support address on the Help page and include enough detail for us to find your account.
